Nathan Shoemaker
I grew up in South Central PA, right outside the village of Newburg. I am a proud Bulldog, with a lot of friends and connections with Greyhounds and Trojans due to the three school districts meeting within a few miles of my childhood home.
In 2009, as a high school student, I started working part-time as a file clerk for our agency. About 10 years later, I took over the operations, and I am excited to keep working and growing with our family of clients.
I love people. I love helping them and pushing them to learn more and new things. I like learning what each person finds to be most important to them and finding how to ensure it is always there for them!
I am a Jesus-Freak. I don’t get it right many days, but my faith allows me to know that it’s ok not to be perfect. Jesus was focused on loving others – and that is what I try to do daily, personally and professionally.
As someone whose family describes them as a workaholic, I love to take cruises because it is one of the few places I can truly unplug from the day in and day out. I love spending time on, in, or around water – Boating, fishing, swimming are all some of my favorite things!

I like kayaking, photography, and riding the motorcycle with my husband. I enjoy spending time with my family on the weekends, going to church, family dinners, and just having downtime.

I have worked in the insurance industry since October of 2001. In March of 2017, I came to work for Shoemaker’s Insurance. I enjoy helping my policyholders make sure they have the right coverage in the event of a loss.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I’m a big sports fan, and love watching games, football and softball are my favorite. I love my soap operas: Young and the Restless and The Bold and The Beautiful. I watch them every night!
When I’m not working, you can find me either at my nieces’ softball games or off on some adventure with family & friends.
I am passionate about giving to The American Cancer Society. I lost my mom to cancer and will support them on their mission to beat cancer.

Born in Carlisle and raised in Chambersburg since second grade, I bring a deep connection to our community to my work as a health insurance specialist at Shoemaker’s Insurance & Financial Services.
With 31 years of experience at Chambersburg Hospital, I developed a strong foundation in healthcare, which I now leverage to help individuals, families, and small businesses find tailored health insurance and Medicare solutions. My approach is rooted in understanding each client’s unique needs, ensuring they receive coverage that provides security and peace of mind.
In my free time, I’m passionate about nature and the outdoors, often exploring the mountains on scenic walks. A lifelong enthusiast of racing and classic cars, I spend weekends cheering at the racetrack or admiring vintage automobiles. Whether guiding clients through insurance options or enjoying the beauty of our region, I’m dedicated to making a positive impact in both my professional and personal life. I enjoy spending time with my family, helping my husband with the farm work, watching my children participate in their extracurricular activities.
On the weekends, I can be found helping around the farm, enjoying my morning coffee on the porch, fussing with my flower garden, or attending a game or event for my children’s activities.
I am a board member for our local Little League, and I am also on the board for our local high school band boosters.

I was born in Japan but moved to Chambersburg when I was young and attended CASHS. I enjoy the outdoors and riding my motorcycle.
When I am not at work, I spend time with my family, go camping, or my husband and I are out on motorcycles. The best is when we spend the day riding up through the mountains.
My ideal weekend is spent sitting out back, reading a good book, and enjoying the peace and quiet.

I’m Trisha, from Chambersburg, now living in McConnellsburg. I graduated from Wilson College with a Bachelor’s in English, which honed my communication skills and fueled my interest in people’s stories.
I’ve recently entered the insurance industry, already holding a Health and Life Insurance License. I’m passionate about helping people feel safer and more secure, not for the success but for the joy of aiding others.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and unwinding with true crime documentaries, which reflect my fascination with complex stories. I’m dedicated to supporting and guiding clients in their insurance needs and life challenges, always with understanding and compassion.

I’m a driven and impatient learner, always looking to expand my expertise and take on additional responsibilities.
Although my direct client interaction is minimal at present, I’m content in my supporting role, assisting Nathan and the team to the best of my abilities. I take pride in being a reliable and helpful team player.
Personally, I have a passion for singing, movies, and theater acting. The cinemas probably benefit from my frequent visits! Fashion is another love of mine, inspired by my mom, and I hope to make my own mark in that industry someday.
When it comes to guilty pleasures, I can’t resist parathas and chai at dhabas, especially because of their simple, unpretentious charm. And let’s not forget Nutella parathas before bed—my ultimate indulgence, despite my ongoing battle with weight loss!
On weekends, I cherish my “Me Day,” where I unwind by lounging in my room, jamming to my favorite tunes, trying out new outfits, and even giving myself a makeup session—just for fun! It’s my way of recharging. And when I’m not indulging in some solo time, I love spending quality moments with friends and family, making the most of my downtime
